This dynamic 5-day workshop is designed for learners who want to build confidence and fluency in conversational English, especially for work-related and travel situations. Whether you’re preparing for an international trip, engaging with English-speaking clients, or navigating professional settings, this course will help you communicate more naturally and effectively.
Led by a seasoned American professor with over 25 years of experience in college-level teaching and administration, the class blends practical language instruction with real-world scenarios. Each session features interactive activities, group discussions, role-plays, and listening/speaking exercises to improve pronunciation, vocabulary, and cultural understanding.
Expect a supportive and fun learning environment where you’ll be challenged to use English actively and creatively. You’ll leave each class with practical tools, new expressions, and greater confidence in your conversational skills.

Who is the instructor?
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. With over 20 years of experience as an adjunct professor, she has taught writing, humanities, and communication at various institutions, bringing passion and depth to every classroom. Teaching is not just her profession—it is her joy. Patricia lives in the mountains of Vermont in the United States, close to the Canadian border. This will be her second on-site course with the Netherlands Education Group in Amsterdam, and she is delighted to be returning to work with a new cohort of learners.
