Learn how to communicate, collaborate, listen and lead effectively in diverse, international workplaces. This 3-day interactive program helps professionals and emerging leaders develop practical skills for managing communication, feedback, listening, and decision-making across cultures. Through bite-sized concepts, role plays, and real-world case analysis, participants gain confidence in working within and leading multicultural and remote teams. The course also includes guidance on using modern communication and productivity tools more effectively and responsibly, plus a guest session or site visit with industry professionals in Amsterdam to connect learning with real practice. Participants leave with a personalized Global Leadership Toolkit to apply immediately in their work.

- Cultural frameworks and their impact on communication (The Culture Map, Iceberg Model)
- Awareness, curiosity, and flexibility as drivers of cross-cultural competence
- Opening reflection: “Global first impressions” group discussion
- 360° Communication Map: participants assess how they communicate and how they are perceived by others, mapping directness, feedback, and relationship orientation
- Case study: cross-cultural project miscommunication scenario
- Pair reflection: “How might I be perceived abroad?”
Day 2: Leading Global and Hybrid Teams
Theme: Collaboration and Influence
- Building trust across cultures (task-based and relationship-based trust)
- Feedback, hierarchy, and expectations in global teams
- Managing hybrid collaboration, information flow, and time zones.
- Using AI tools to support clear, culturally aware communication (e.g., refining tone, structure, or feedback messages across cultures).
- Simulation: “The 24-Hour Global Team” cross-border project scenario
- Feedback Lab: practicing giving and receiving feedback across cultural lines
- Practice: using a generative AI tool to refine cross-cultural email drafts or presentation language, then discussing results and limitations.
- Group analysis: redesigning a virtual team communication plan
