This workshop examines the practical aspects of communication, allowing participants to PRACTICE what they observe and engage in experiments with guidance, immediate feedback, and assistance. Participants will gain improved insight into their communication strengths and weaknesses and will have the opportunity to create their own toolkit to enhance communication with the public, clients, and prospects.
Who is the Coach?
Juliette Gaasenbeek is a passionate language and communication instructor. Her nickname is Juls and she is convinced that by expanding our cultural insights, we become better communicators. She has taught English and communication skills at many levels and places. She has also trained teachers in Brazil and other countries. She is a frequent conference speaker and loves getting to know people from different backgrounds and cultures. Juliette has also written course materials for National Geographic. She believes our success lies mainly in excellent communication and networking skills. Her hobbies are singing and drawing / painting.
Schedule
Via Gmeets or Zoom, with a communicative approach. Each session starts with an example or study case from which the characteristic are noted by participants themselves. Participants get to add their own ideas to it and produce their own work and present it for feedback.
A short (6 to 8 sessions) Communication course which trains participants to:
host effective meetings
give effective briefings
give clear and engaging presentations
write emails
write press releases and social media posts
create podcasts and videos / reels
And 2 personalised sessions, based on needs and necessities of the group.
Duration: 8 sessions of 1 hour and 45 minutes Daily Schedule: Saturdays or Mondays 12pm 13:45 pm CET time
